Marie Antoinette's Garden Brooch

This beautiful romantic brooch is called
"Marie Antoinette's Garden"

This brooch was inspired by the garden of
the beautiful house Marie Antoinette lived in for a while
when she wanted to be away from the palace of Versailles
and the feeling of lazy Summer days,
sitting in the garden, drinking home made syrup,
watching the flowers creep up the garden walls.

It is a a golden pin brooch in which a powder blue
polymer clay cameo was hand sculpted
on which, using the clay embroidery technique,
a spray of flowers, petals and vines were sculpted.

The flowers are done in many different colors
in soft Summer shades of
soft egg shell pink, dusty rose, soft lilac, pearly white,
bright white, soft gold, copper gold,
minty blue, golden green, and plum purple,
all mixed with beautiful gold clay.

In the hearts of the flowers, rhinestones sparkle in colors of
clear crystal, soft iridescent pink, aqua blue and golden amber.

The brooch is light weight, so it will not tear your clothes while wearing it.
Pin it on your blouse, your jacket, coat, favorite bag or hat, or anything you can think of.

The brooch is almost 4,5 cm long, almost 3,5 cm wide
and about 1,5 cm thick from the puffiest part of the cameo
to the needle of the pin.
